• At least 8 years of professional experience preferably in banking sector.

• Experience in working with core banking systems and financial reporting platforms.

• Part of the execution team for a minimum 5 projects, and have work end to end on that project from requirements to deployment.

• Strong preference for candidates with experience in implementing General Ledger (GL) solutions.

-EXPERIENCE IN TESTING ERP,FINANCIALS AND GL.

Technical Skills

• Demonstrated ability to gather and understand business requirements for IT

• Demonstrated ability to write test cases, prepare test data and execute tests (normal and exception testing)

• Good understanding of the SDLC particularly with respect to all phases of testing (UT,ST,SIT,UAT and Non-functional tests)

• In-depth knowledge of General Ledger systems and financial accounting principles.

• Proficiency in requirements analysis, Test design and Test execution Bug detection Manual/Automation Testing.

• With strong analytical and problem-solving skills that is vital in finding critical and minor defects/issue.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external vendors.

• Proficiency in Test Defect Management tool such as JIRA/ALM for defect triage and reporting.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and personalities from different functional areas in the BU and Technology Groups.

• Strong presentation skills (creation and delivery of presentation) - Ability to discuss key insights/ findings and potential options for next steps.

Job Mandate

 Develop test cases and test plans

· Manage and execute testing for applications developed to ensure that they meet the

quality requirements of the business

· Perform basic troubleshooting in the event of failure to appropriately log defects

Duties and Responsibilities

· Plan and coordinate applications functional testing of assigned projects based on

direction from the delivery manager

· Test systems, report on results, and track defects in coordination with business and IT

· Perform basic troubleshooting to define

· Assure quality of delivered applications and their compliance with the functional and

technical requirements

· Administer test execution and result reporting in compliance with IT policies, procedures

and guidelines

· Regulate and maintain testing documents (test cases, testing plans and reports)

· Report results and defects in a timely manner to business and IT, and work closely with

them to develop solutions

· Provide testing expertise, direction and assistance to all stakeholders
