PLATFORM ARCHITECT

Solution Architecture

- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions leveraging Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake and others.

- Develop architecture frameworks and patterns to support adoption of an Enterprise Data Platform and AI Platform for analytics, reporting, and generative AI solutions

- Drive integration and alignment of data solutions factoring the bank’s Enterprise Architecture guardrails into solution designs

- Oversee the bank’s Master Data Management platform’s architecture, design and optimization of master data using Informatica MDM

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to factor in data lineage, governance processes and data quality when designing solutions that enhance master data and its availability

Platform Performance Optimization

- Optimize ETL processes and data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency

- Provide technical support in troubleshooting and monitoring platform performance issues to maintain optimal system performance

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Partner with data platform owners, enterprise and solution architects, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to align data solutions with business goals/requirements.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to assess new tools and approaches for data and AI platforms

- Explore emerging technologies in data analytics and AI, including generative AI, and drive their adoption to resolve business requirements following the SDLC process.

Technical

- Cloud data platforms: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake and other native Azure cloud services

- Database systems: SQL server, Azure Cosmos DB

- ETL: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Informatica DEI

- Master Data Management: Informatica MDM

- Performance Optimization: Cloud cost management, scalability strategies, data query tuning

- Automation & CI/CD: Implementing DevOps practices for data platform deployment
